The Rise of Joe Buffalo
Joe Buffalo is a professional skateboarder and actor living in Vancouver, BC. Originally from Maskwacis in Central Alberta, Joe’s story is one of perseverance and passion. As a child, his talent and love for skateboarding allowed him to transcend the negativity that surrounded him and gave him the opportunity to tour the country, quickly becoming one of Canada’s best young skateboarders. Nowadays, Joe has transitioned into a career as a performer, acting in a number of award-winning Canadian films and music videos in recent years. All the while, he has maintained his drive and desire to pass on his experience to First Nations youth and demonstrate what can be achieved through hard work and determination.
